Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
The IPCC was established in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization
(WMO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to assess
the available scientific, technical, and socio-economic information
in the field of climate change.
- The Tiempo Climate
Cyberlibrary: Global Warming & the 3rd World
From the University of East Anglia and the IIED, extensive information
on climate change issues in developing countries. Site includes the
online version of Tiempo magazine.
- Climate Change
The Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India provides easy access to information
related to climate change science, impacts, and international negotiations.

Earth system to ensure the availability of future resources essential
for human well-being.
- US: CLIMAS
The mission of the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS) program is to improve the region’s ability to respond sufficiently and appropriately to climatic events and climate changes. The program promotes participatory, iterative research involving scientists, decision makers, resource users, educators, and others who need more and better information about climate and its impacts.
