• Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
  The IPCC was established in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to assess the available scientific, technical, and socio-economic information in the field of climate change.

  From the University of East Anglia and the IIED, extensive information on climate change issues in developing countries. Site includes the online version of Tiempo magazine.
• Climate Change
  The Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India provides easy access to information related to climate change science, impacts, and international negotiations. It highlights India's climate-friendly initiatives. A special youth section answers questions about climate change impacts and solutions.

• Australia: Climatic Management Information (The Long Paddock)
  Based in Queensland; includes an Australiawide climatic data base, Queensland-specific information, and a wide range of decision-support tools and information services.
• El Niño Page
  Maintained by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, this site provides access to extensive information concerning El Niño events and their impact on global climate.
• Global Energy and Water Cycle Experiment
  (GEWEX) was initiated in 1988 by the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) to observe and model the hydrologic cycle and energy fluxes in the atmosphere, at the land surface, and in the upper oceans.

• US: CLIMAS
  The mission of the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS) program is to improve the region’s ability to respond sufficiently and appropriately to climatic events and climate changes. The program promotes participatory, iterative research involving scientists, decision makers, resource users, educators, and others who need more and better information about climate and its impacts.
